I thought this article was interesting because it ties in with this week's topic of low-birth weight. It is interesting to learn how problems in early childhood can potentially go on to affect us the rest of our lives.

This is a good article. It reinforces what we learned this week regarding factors that influence low birth weight.

I wonder if the cause of the low-birthweight may be more to blame than the fact that these people had a low- birthweight. Some of the causes of low birthweight can also be contributed to low SEC. Such is the case most of the time with little or no prenatal care.

Low birth weight and jobs I dont know if this article is really detailed enough for me I wish they could of did a study of how many people are successful and rich because a job to me does blue collar or white collar does not equal success..Therefore I wish we could find out how low birth weight adults and their success in life.

I would like to see more studies on this before I agree with it. It is interesting but I would have to wonder about the lifestyles of the parents and their genetic makeup.
